Ready to bring your Algerian Arabic to life this week? Let’s kick things off with a fun and totally doable weekly speaking challenge that builds confidence one day at a time!

Here’s your Weekly Challenge:

🟩 Monday: Use 3 greetings Practice greetings with a friend or family member.

Example: S’ba7 elkhir! (Good morning!)

⬛Tuesday: Describe what you eat in your day. You don’t need to say all the details of your meals. Just few words.

Examples: Nochrob 7’lib/ ma (I am having milk/ water)

Nakol batata (I’m eating potatoes)

🟨 Wednesday: Describe your day with 5 new words Make a short sentence or two about your day using vocabulary you've learned.

Examples: Rani fi eddar (I’m at home)

N’ro7 li’lkhidma (I’m going to work)

🟧 Thursday: Ask 2 simple questions Practice asking everyday questions.

Examples: Ch’7al hadi? (how much is this?)

Win rak? (where are you?)

🟪 Friday: Say something nice! Give a compliment or say something nice to someone.

Examples: Hada ch’bab (This is beautiful)

Ya3tik essa7a (Good job!)_In some cases it means “thank you”

🔴 Saturday: Use 3 objects in sentences Choose any 3 items around you and make a simple sentence with each.

Examples: Hadi tabla (this is a table)

3andi tilifoun j’did (I have a new phone)

🗭 Sunday: Record yourself speaking (30 seconds) Say anything in Algerian Arabic: describe your day, your room, or just repeat new phrases.

Tip: Save your recordings. You’ll be surprised at how much you improve in just a few weeks!
