Algerian Arabic Feelings (Part1)

Feelings are important words to use in everyday conversations. In this lesson, you’ll learn how to say basic emotions like happy, sad, and angry in Algerian Arabic. Since there are many adjectives to explore, this is just Part 1. Let’s get started! 😊

Note: Unlike English, Arabic uses two forms to express feelings: verbs (in the past form mostly) and adjectives. Sometimes one is used more than the other, and in some cases, both are used equally.

Feelings (PART1) in the TWO FORMS

Example:

واش بيك؟ تْبان تعبان

/wa:ch bi:k t’ba:n ta3ba:n/

How do you feel?/What’s wrong? You look tired

ايه راني تعبان بزّاف

/i:h ra:ni: ta3ba:n bezza:f/

Yes, I’m so tired
