Express Your Feelings in Daily Conversations

In this lesson, you’ll join me to practice real-life Algerian Arabic conversations. You’ll learn how to express your feelings naturally through two conversations. By the end of the lesson, you’ll feel more confident using these expressions in your own conversations. You can also mix and match words to make them your own!

English Translation

You: Good morning! How are you?
Me: I'm good, thank God. And you?
You: I'm a little tired.
Me: Is everything okay?
You: I didn't sleep well last night. My son was sick.
Me: What's wrong with him?
You: He had a fever.
Me: May God heal him (I hope he gets better soon). How is he today?
You: He's better.
Me: Thank God.

English Translation

You: Hey bro, everything good?
Me: Yeah, all good, thank God. And you?
You: I'm good, thank God. But yesterday, I was really anxious.
Me: Why? What happened?
You: They're going to transfer me to work in another place.
Me: Are you serious?
You: I swear! But today, I felt a bit better (happy)—they told me it's a good place.
Me: That’s great! I'm really happy for you.
You: Thanks, bro!
