How To Talk About Weather in The Algerian Dialect
In this speaking lesson, you will learn how to ask and talk about the weather during the four seasons, in a very simple way.
Take a look at the vocabulary below, divided into nouns (n) and adjcetives (adj)
For the verbs, I will just give you the basic and the most used ones.
يْطيحْ = يْصُبْ (fall down)
We use it with: rain, snow and hail.

يِبْرِدْ = get cold
يِدْفَا = get warm
يِسْخُنْ = get hot

Today is very cold and there’s frost on the ground
الرْبيع
اليوم الحالة راهي مْشَمْسَة والوَرْد تْفَتَّح في كُل مْكَان
Today is sunny and the flowers have bloomed everywhere
الْخْرِيفْ
اليوم الرّيح قاوي بِزّاف، الوْرَقْ كامِلْ طاحُو
Today the wind is strong , all the leaves have fallen down
الصّيفْ
اليوم نْهارْ تَعْ بْحَرْ ، السْخانَة تُقْتِلْ
