“Allah Ybarik” Expression

In Algeria, we use a lot of expressions that has the word God (Allah). “Allah Ybarik” is one of them. The translation in English is “God bless you”. However the meaning is much deeper than the English one.

We mainly say it when we are impressed by something or someone to protect them from the evil eye. If it is used when we are impressed by someone, it shows also that we do not envy them and we are truly happy for them.
