How to Express Algerian Money

Do you feel confused when you hear Algerian people talk about their money and why do they use big number for cheap things?

The answer is so simple. It’s because in Algeria, we are still expressing our money in the old way, in other words, expressing it in “centime” instead of “dinar”.

And 1 dinar = 100 centime

So we always add two zeros to any price, and that’s what makes a price bigger than the usual.
